So, a client of mine had told me about this company she was interning for, BirchBox. I let her know that although I had heard of it, I had no idea what it really was…Well, it’s now my go to for new products and product testing. Some of the products are true travel size, others are a bit bigger. What you do is, hop on their website, fill out a survey about what type of beauty stuff you as the consumer are interested in, and they create a customized box filled with goodies to be sent to you once a month! So far I have received two boxes, and I have pretty much loved everything in them. Below are just two out of my many favorites:
GilChrist and Soames Lotion: This body lotion smells divine. Not only does it smell like a perfect fresh spring day, it has an extremely silky finish! I don’t wear much perfume, so this gives me the perfect amount of floral scent, without being over powering! For only $16, I will be definitely purchasing this full size! Click here to purchase!
Beauty Protector Protect and Detangler: This leave in detangler works pretty well, I don’t think its the best I have ever used, it’s the smell of it that has me hooked. It’s an extremely fragrant product that smells of hot cotton candy. No joke, it smells JUST like cotton candy. It comes in a spray bottle, but I found it too thick to spritz, so I just squeezed some into the palm of my hand, and distributed throughout my hair, midshaft to ends. It felt pretty weightless in my hair, and it added a uv protectant to my ashy blonde locks! Always key to avoiding brassiness!
